I made these this weekend because I had buttermilk left over from the blueberry muffins. Also, it was Greg’s going away party, Sonia’s birthday, and we went to Geoff’s sister’s in Philly for the color run.
I didn’t buy enough red food coloring so I added a little blue to make what was supposed to turn out a raspberry color…
I also did not buy enough cream cheese, but it turned out half a batch of frosting was more than enough. Yum. Here is the recipe.
I made these for my uncle’s birthday on Friday figuring there would be plenty of cake and a hang over gift the next morning was the next best thing. Somehow I woke up at 7:30 on a Saturday- I’m turning into an old lady.
